# Billing and seats

> Plans, seats, and reach-out credits, and where to change them.

Billing lives under **Settings → Billing**, for account admins.

## Plans

An **individual** plan covers one person. A **team** plan is a base price plus a seat for each person on the account. Adding or removing a team member changes the seats on the next invoice. Current prices are on the billing page.

## Monthly, quarterly, or annual

Every plan can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. Monthly is the default. Quarterly and annual billing cost less than the same months paid one at a time, and the plan picker shows the saving on each. Cancel any time; your runs, boards, and contacts are kept.

## Starting out

A new account can look around the whole product and set up its job boards, roles, do-not-contact list and team before picking a plan. Starting a run, messaging or logging a contact, using the assistant and buying contacts need a plan: press any of them without one and Tenure asks you to start your free trial first. Everything you set up before that is kept.

## The free trial

Your first plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Pick a plan on the billing page and add a card; nothing is charged until the trial ends. During the trial you can contact 5 candidates and start one AI sourcing run. When you reach either limit, Tenure says so and offers to start your plan early. Billing begins automatically at the end of the 7 days unless you cancel before then, and your full allowance comes with it.

The billing page shows the trial's end date and what you have used of it. An account admin can press **Start my plan now** to begin billing today and lift the trial's limits at once. An account that has had a plan before does not get a second trial.

## Reach-out credits

Messages sent from Tenure's database use reach-out credits. The billing page shows your balance and where to buy more. Job board passes are worked on your own board accounts and do not use credits.

## Invoices and payment

Invoices, receipts, and your payment method are on the billing page. Payments are handled by Stripe; Tenure never stores your card.
